I was thinking along anon's lines...
I expect to see this kind of face in ads portraying the "typical" freshly-scrubbed euro-american face...
athletic; never does hippy drugs; sorta virginal; faithful to husband; majoring in journalism or psych; will have 2.3 children with a college-educated white man; etc...
I see who she is now. So I was close.
Would America really care one way or the other if this was just some Joe Shmoe's kid? Unlikely.

It's possible, sometimes the drapes just seem to swallow them up.
Agree re the other point. Hopefully she didn't go sticking needles into them after she hit like 30 or something.
The picture of RWP reminds me of the line in the Forrest Gump movie, something like "Sorry for ruining your black panther party" .. classic, one of the best ever. (don't even know if that's what the pic is taken from, but still ..)
